Nicole Martinez

Lead HR Specialist

Nicole is an organized, detail-oriented project manager who joined Ethos in September 2020. She has gained progressive experience in Human Resources by managing employee onboarding and separations for in-house and remote talent. She ensures all documentation is compliant with state and federal requirements and has worked with clients on auditing Form I-9s.

In her current role, she is creating operational processes for our team and clients to onboard new employees and ensure new hire documentation is completed correctly. She has experience with human resource information systems (“HRIS”), applicant tracking, and electronic onboarding, and her project management skills ensure our clients receive the management and support for their teams. She is also our Zendesk master, assisting the Ethos team and clients in managing requests for support.

Nicole received her Bachelor’s Degree in Human Development and Psychology at Cal State Long Beach and is a member of SHRM (Society of Human Resource Professionals) and PIHRA (Professionals in Human Resources Association). When she is not working on HR projects, she loves to spend time outside with her family and her dog Remy.
