Berenice Macedo Guillen joins Ethos as a Human Resources Specialist, bringing four years of experience in HR and leave of absence management. Previously, she served as a Leave of Absence Specialist at a North American security company that provides physical security for offices, malls, large stadiums, and festivals. In her role, she navigated State and Federal laws and coordinated with employees and HR teams to ensure compliance with FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Comp leave policies.

Berenice enjoys working with the employer and employee to ensure they both feel supported throughout the LOA process. She looks forward to broadening her HR knowledge by working with various clients and industries at Ethos as a Human Resources Specialist.

Berenice is bilingual in English and Spanish and graduated with a BA in HR Management & Finance from California State University, Fullerton. She grew up in Orange County and lives with her husband, Martin, and daughter, Delilah. In her spare time, you may catch her on the Little Mermaid ride at California Adventure. She and her husband are Disneyland passholders and try to visit the park at least once a month. Berenice enjoys exploring Disneyland and spending quality time with her family.
