Sarai is a results-oriented Human Resources and Payroll professional.  Her background includes the non-profit, construction, hospitality, online retail and professional services industries.  She has supported these industries in the areas of human resources compliance, employee relations, certified payroll, union reporting for LA, Orange and San Diego counties.  Her experience spans over 8 years of hands-on payroll administration, including mastering various Payroll platforms to accommodate the needs of her clients.  She has successfully supported multiple payroll conversions and implementations for 5 to 250 lives.

In her current role as a Human Resources Consultant at Ethos HCS, Sarai works with multiple clients providing guidance and support in payroll and HR compliance comprising research, analysis and troubleshooting payroll transactions ranging from accruals, wage garnishments, various types of deductions, leave of absences and the convergence of all of these issues.  She is our firm’s Workshare Program and Unemployment Insurance resident expert.

Sarai recently completed her Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in HR Management from La Sierra University. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.  She currently serves on the board of directors for the Riverside chapter of the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA) as Social Media Chair.

Sarai is married, is the mother to an adorable 3-year old toddler named Matteo, and recently embarked on the adventure of becoming a pet parent to a hyper Doodle puppy named Emmet.  She enjoys a full life. Family time is important to her and board games are a must in this household. She attends boardgame conventions three times a year along with her wife, son, and extended family. She is passionate about miniature painting for tabletop role-playing games and has an extensive board game collection. We are talking over 80+ board games in her very own collection.
