Nanette joined the Ethos team in late 2021, bringing over 15 years of experience in Human Resources, including time as an in-house HR Manager. In that role, she led the development of onboarding programs, employee handbooks, recruitment strategies, and payroll processes. As a former business owner herself, Nanette brings valuable perspective and a unique insight into the challenges business owners and HR professionals face daily.

She is well-versed in HR information systems (HRIS), applicant tracking, and electronic onboarding. At Ethos, she partners with clients to design compliant onboarding workflows and manage payroll functions. Her hands-on experience with platforms like Paylocity, Paycom, and Paychex, combined with her “engineering brain,” enables her to uncover and solve potential problems for our clients every day.

Nanette holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Ensenada and a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI).

Originally from Baja, Mexico, she now resides in Orange County. Her loyal work companion is Jaxon, an adorable black Westiepoo she adopted. Outside of work, Nanette enjoys staying active through sports and strength training and is an avid reader and podcast listener, especially on health, fitness, and nutrition topics. She is fully bilingual in English and Spanish.
